Y2M Weekly Update: 18th June - 22nd June 2018

 

	This Week	Next Week
English	This week in English class, we discussed and wrote about the importance of a community in a city and ways we could make them better. We also looked at other jobs that are important in a community.	Next week in English class, we will look at different cities from around the world and how the communities inside have shaped their identity.
Maths	This week in Math class, we partitioned to add two 2-digit numbers; found the difference between two 2-digit numbers; multiplied two numbers using counting in steps of 2, 3, 5 and 10; solved division problems by counting in steps of 2, 3, 5 and 10	Next week in Math class, we will review concepts taught this year and play Math games.
Unit of Inquiry	How We Organize Ourselves This  week in UOI, we planned our final project where we will design our own community.	How We Organize Ourselves Next week in UOI, we  will begin our end of unit project where we will design and draw our own city map.
